Town Square with Architectural Motifs from Cologne
Sketches of Romanesque church buildings in Cologne (St. Mary's in the Capitol, St. Gereon's, St. Peter's, St. Cecilia's), made on a trip to the Lower Rhine area, have been combined at will to form an idealised cityscape, brought to life by figures by the painter Johannes Lingelbach (1622-1674).
