The statue of St John the Evangelist preserved in torso was originally a part of the Calvary group, probably in the arch of triumph in the monastery church in Třeboň. The expression of lyrical dreaminess of the statue and the finely modeled drapery refer to the panel paintings of the Master of the Třeboň Altarpiece.
Torzálně dochovaná socha sv. Jana Evangelisty byla původně součástí Kalvárie patrně ve vítězném oblouku klášterního kostela v Třeboni. Zasněný lyrický výraz sochy i měkce modelovaná drapérie odkazují k malířské tvorbě Mistra Třeboňského oltáře.
