Lamentation of the Dead Christ
This composition is related to Naldini's altarpiece in the Church of Santa Maria Novella, Florence, of 1572. It may be a creative variant for a private patron, rather than a copy. Naldini first trained with Pontormo, but was later influenced by Andrea del Sarto and Giorgio Vasari.
