The Consecration of Saint Nicholas
Bishops gathered at Myra in Turkey to elect a new archbishop. One of them was informed in a vision that they should choose a youth called Nicholas, whom they would find kneeling in the cathedral. An angel bears the new archbishop's mitre, crosier and stole.
