The Israelites gathering Manna

Moses, on the left with his brother Aaron, instructs the starving Israelites to gather up the food ('Manna') which God has supplied from heaven. This miracle from the Old Testament foreshadows the Last Supper at which Christ makes his body available in the form of bread to sustain the faithful.
