An Allegory with Venus and Time
Venus consigns her newborn son, probably Aeneas, to Time, who is represented with wings, an hourglass and a scythe. Above Venus' chariot, the Three Graces scatter flowers onto the figures below. Below Time is Cupid with his quiver of arrows.
