Portrait of a Man ('Léal Souvenir')

The sitter has not been identified. The words Léal Souvenir (Loyal Remembrance) are painted on the parapet as though carved into the stone. The portrait is signed and dated 10 October 1432 in the Latin inscription on the lower part of the parapet. Above is an inscription meaning 'Then God'.
