The Virgin and Child with Saints
The Virgin and Child are clothed with the sun, in reference to the Apocalypse (New Testament, Revelation 12:1). Saint Anthony holds a bell, to ring for alms, and a wild boar. Saint George is shown with the dragon he killed. The 19th century frame contains imitations of medals by Pisanello. The artist's signature can be seen at the bottom.
