The Mass of Saint Gregory

While celebrating mass, the sixth century pope Gregory was challenged by a disbeliever about the presence of Christ's body and blood in the bread and wine. Christ then miraculously appeared over the altar at which Gregory was kneeling, accompanied by the instruments of the Passion.
